Yes, folks. We are SO back!
Reality is getting expensive, as we know it. So does the domain renewals. That’s what happened with the adriculous.life domain that I’ve owned for the last ten years or so. Plus, I had an epiphany right after seeing the renewal feel rise up. It was the type of epiphany where I debated myself of the price worth of the domain. Rather than the numerical price, I went by the quality price.
And so, I looked back on the blog itself. My posts were completely sporadic, my diary art wasn’t exactly the best, more like stuck in the beginner level, and lastly, lack of motivation to post a diary art for the blog. I might as well just post my own photographs instead, right? And I’ve got plenty. I just need to reupload them and make a gallery here.
Lastly, I have to admit that there isn’t much to write about regarding to my real life. I know there are some old school bloggers out there who still write about their real life altogether, but as for me, I tend to keep things private. I’m now an aunt to three children and I’ve had my personal struggles. I rather write about something exciting and appealing to the audience, something a lot more engaging, rather than writing a “diary” like some teenage girls used to write about in the past.
What kind of content shall we see in ADRIANNE’S SPACE?
Random stuff. Mostly the random stuff. After all, I have to take advantage of the space part of the site and the domain name, right?
- Personal art: uber kawaii and stuff. I’m currently building an art site too, but will make that more as a portfolio rather than just a gallery of art.
- Music: I still have Chika Wota Blog to write all about J-Pop music, but I’m thinking about closing the site too and write about random J-Pop artists and their music here instead. Besides, the Chika Wota Blog is primarily towards my favorite boy groups when there’s so much great artists and music out there.
- Books and manga: I will be honest, but I haven’t been reading as many books or manga as I used to. I’d like to get back and write reviews about them, just like before.
- vTubers: My current hobby as of now. Starpura Space is primarily dedicated to HOLOSTARS, as well as some talents under Hololive Productions. I thought about writing some “news” and “drama” in the vTubing scene over there, but thinking about the fan demographics, I don’t think anyone would spend time visiting some nobody’s personal blog and write about them in general, you know? So maybe, I’ll write about some “news” and issues in the vTubing scene.
- Video Games: I’m lazy providing screenshots so I just write about them without the visuals. I’ll try not to be lazy this time.
- Downloads: I recently learned how to make pattern backgrounds (for wallpapers and website backgrounds, etc.) and even handwritten fonts, so as a start, I’ll open a digital downloads section here for everyone.
For now, that’s about it. There aren’t anything else that I could write about, so I’ll blog again next time.
