When people hear the word “AI,” they think automation, cold logic — maybe even job-stealing robots.
But what if I told you that AI helped me create something deeply personal?
Something that reflects my growth, my quirks, my sparkles.
Prompted by Adrianne (PbA) is not just a portfolio — it’s a love letter to learning. To curiosity. To creative tech and kawaii chaos. And yes, AI helped me build it.
But it didn’t replace me.
It collaborated with me. Suggested ideas. Helped me troubleshoot code. Encouraged me when I was stuck. Even cracked a few (questionable) jokes.
And through that process, I built more than a site.
I built confidence.
Because when you guide the AI — when you’re in the driver’s seat — it becomes a powerful tool, not a threat.
If you’re curious about the full behind-the-scenes story (yes, including the breakdowns, breakthroughs, and backup disasters), I wrote a full case study here:
👉 Behind the Sparkles: How I Built Prompted by Adrianne
I hope it inspires you to create something of your own — with AI as your sidekick, not your replacement.
Why dabble with AI?
I’ve said it before — I’m against generative AI art or any tool that people use to “cheat” originality, copy others’ work, and claim it as their own. Not only is that unethical, it’s often outright copyright infringement.
But here’s the thing: this isn’t AI’s fault. It’s how people use AI that determines the impact.
That’s why I wanted to show a different way — to prove that AI can be used thoughtfully and ethically. Whether it’s a study companion, a pair programmer, or a creative brainstorming buddy, there’s potential to use it for good.
And I believe Prompted by Adrianne proves that.
Explore the site, or dig into the repo if you’re curious.
Let’s keep building — thoughtfully, sparkly, and with purpose.
It’s a short blog entry, but this is more of a site plug than just another rambling blog entry. I feel that AI was my true calling all this time. I’ve tried getting into web dev, data analytics, and other fields. But somehow, I found something that may be artificial, but also resonate with me.
What other chaotic projects might I be cooking up behind the scenes? You’ll just have to wait and see.
Till next time!
Oh that site is so cute looking! I honestly haven’t messed with AI much but I think it does depend how people use it.
It’s not perfect yet, got some tweaks to do still, plus I need to add more content before I show it off to potential employers LOL.
I’m also studying Ethical and Responsible AI, which is also a field that I’m interested in. With all the generated AI being created out from stealing existing artwork out around the net, Ethical AI should be highly enforced here.
AI used by the general public is still a bit of a new concept, but a lot of people are using it the wrong way, which is why creatives (especially artists, writers, musicians, etc.) have a negative view towards AI itself. The thing is, AI is a tool, not a replacement. It’s supposed to be your partner, not your replacement. I hope I’m making sense here haha~
Nah I get what you mean, and totally agree. =3
